Kwabena Agyei Boakye

Kwabena Agyei Boakye is a monitoring and evaluation specialist with more than twenty years of experience in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public, private and non-governmental projects and programmes across Africa and in the Pacific. He has played a direct role in over 50 programmes.

Kwabena served as Director for Monitoring and Evaluation in the Office of the President, Ghana (2020–2021) and as Chief Director of the Ministry of Monitoring and Evaluation (2018–2020). He has been an M&E Specialist on the Public Financial Management Reform Programme at the Ministry of Finance, an M&E Expert at the African Capacity Building Foundation, and a Technical Advisor to the African Community of Practice on Managing for Development Results (funded by the World Bank and the African Development Bank). He has advised the Government of Lesotho as an International M&E Advisor and served as Monitoring, Evaluation and Statistics consultant for the Support to Sustainable Rural Livelihoods Programme in Fiji.
